This Refund Policy describes your rights regarding refunds for Vi Project Manager subscriptions. All payments are processed by Paddle.com, which acts as our Merchant of Record.
1. Subscription Model & Payments
Vi Project Manager is a subscription-based SaaS product offered on monthly and annual billing cycles. We offer three plans: Free, Pro ($5/user/month or $4/user/month annually), and Business ($10/user/month or $8/user/month annually).
All paid transactions are processed by Paddle.com, which acts as the Merchant of Record. Paddle handles payment processing, invoicing, and refund execution on our behalf. When a refund is approved, Paddle processes the return to your original payment method.
2. Free Plan
The Free plan has no cost and requires no payment. No refund provisions apply to the Free plan. You may stop using the Free plan at any time without any action required.
3. 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee
Conditions for the 14-day guarantee:
- Applies to the first purchase of a paid plan (Pro or Business) per customer/organization.
- The refund request must be submitted within 14 calendar days of the initial charge date.
- One refund per customer entity (not applicable to the same customer re-subscribing after a previous refund).
- The guarantee applies to both monthly and annual subscriptions.
The 14-day window is consistent with the 14-day free trial offered on all paid plans.
4. Renewal Subscriptions
Subscription renewals (subsequent monthly or annual charges after the initial period) are generally non-refundable, except:
- Where required by applicable consumer protection law in your jurisdiction.
- In cases of billing errors (e.g. duplicate charges, charges after cancellation).
- In exceptional circumstances at our sole discretion.
We recommend setting a calendar reminder before your renewal date if you intend to cancel. You can cancel your subscription at any time from Account Settings; cancellation stops future renewals and does not result in an immediate refund of the current period.
5. Annual Plans & Early Cancellation
If you subscribed to an annual plan and cancel before the year ends, access to paid features continues until the end of the annual period. Annual subscriptions cancelled mid-year are not eligible for a pro-rated refund for unused months, unless the cancellation is within the 14-day guarantee window (Section 3) or required by law.
6. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please contact us:

- Include: The email address associated with your Vi account, the date of the charge, and the reason for your request (optional).
We will review your request and respond within 3 business days. Once approved, the refund is processed by Paddle and typically appears on your statement within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
7. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from Account Settings › Subscription. Cancellation is effective immediately: no further charges will occur, and your access to paid features continues until the end of the current billing period.
After the billing period ends, your account automatically downgrades to the Free plan. Your data is retained and remains accessible on the Free plan within its limits. No data is deleted upon downgrade.
If you also wish to delete your account and all associated data, you can do so from Account Settings after cancelling your subscription.
8. Exceptions & Disputes
If you believe you have been charged in error, or if a refund request falls outside the criteria above but you feel you have extenuating circumstances, please contact us at support@useviapp.com and we will review your case.
For payment disputes initiated through your bank or card issuer (chargebacks), note that Paddle — as Merchant of Record — will be the responding party and may provide transaction evidence during the dispute process.
